Recyclable & reusable
Cam buckle tie downs and ratchet straps have protruding metal that can scratch equipment. Simple Strap rubber tie down straps have no metal or buckles.
Buckle tie downs are limited by size and a single wrap. Simple Strap can wrap multiple times.
Ratchets rust, corrode, and are complicated to use. Simple Strap won't rust and is easy to use.
Bungees with metal hooks can be dangerous when they snap back. Simple Strap has no hazardous hooks
Bungee cords limit you to the length between hooks. Simple Strap is 20 feet long so you can easily cut to the length you want.
Rope can be difficult to tighten and requires pesky knots. Simple Strap tie downs pull tight - no knots necessary.

Regular duty has a thickness of 2mm and the heavy duty has a thickness of 3mm.
People tend to choose the heavy duty in slightly rougher/more demanding conditions.
Both work great for most jobs.

Works Great

I bought this Simple Strap because I had to move some furniture. We have a large TV cabinet with 2-doors that hide the contents of the cabinet. Due to its size and weight (real wood), the cabinet doors would open while transporting and layout on its side while taking it out. Using the SS, I was able to wrap the cabinet securely by stretching it around the entire cabinet twice. I simply ticked the ends to start and end and it kept its tension throughout the move. The doors held securely and worked great!

It should be noted the width of the strap is what makes it work well and one can apply great tension to it to help secure it so we’ll.

Definitely a good buy.

Damn fine product

I used one of the two I ordered the day they came in. Had to tie down a bunch of lumber. Held every bit as solid as my giant racket straps but a heck of a lot easier to use. I’m buying two more.

Simple

Bought my first simple strap a few weeks ago and used it for a motorcycle trip to North Carolina. I cut the strip to a smaller size, wrapped one end around the passenger handle, over my travel bag, and wrapped around the other side of the passenger handle. It held for 2 days through rain and wind without budging an inch. Such a simple concept, executed to perfection.

What CAN'T the Simple Strap Do?

I received your product incredibly FAST. Thank You. I love the fact that's it's FREE shipping! I've had products, lately, where the "Shipping and Handling" costs MORE than the product itself! That's REDICULOUS! The very first day...I, immediately, cut off a couple of 10 inch strips to wrap around a vertical 1 inch metal pipe in our indoor grow room. I wanted to insure an excellent platform for my clamp-on light fixture. Even though the camps had some "textured" plastic grips...with it's weight, it just kept wanting to droop down or pinch/slide completely off! While this, indeed, solved the problem... I further refined the SIMPLE STRAP by cutting it lengthwise with a pair of scissors. This gave me FOUR 3/4" x 10" strips that were INFINITELY more manageable. All I needed was to wrap around once, then right over left and under and finish it off by pulling it TIGHT! It stayed put on the metal pipe, my lamp clamped right down on the knotted material and I could almost HANG from the thing now! Problem SOLVED!

I next cut off two 20 inch pieces and began using them separately and together as my new EXERCISE Resistance Bands. Very good for 67 year old muscles! I can't wait until I get my new Dual-Sport Motorcycle. I, initially, bought the SIMPLE STRAP to see if it could secure my Duffle Bag and or Plastic Gas Can, etc. to my rear motorcycle rack. Having seen how well this HOLDS on TIGHT to the one inch pipe...I can't see having any issues, whatsoever!
